A New Start

It's the beginning of winter in this part of the world and it seem that Mother Nature has decided to make it difficult on us. We are full into snow season and my training is in full off season form already. That's not good as off season for me is doing only two or three days of training and eating more. I weighed myself two weeks ago and I was already at 200.6 pounds with my body fat percentage at 14.1 %.

It is amazing just how fast the pounds go back on and even more amazing how long it takes to get the 10 pounds off.

With me it is real simple... if I work out only 2 days I gain weight, 3 days and I maintain weight and if I work out at least 4 days I will loose weight or I do not have to pay attention to what I eat.

So far this off season I've been averaging 2 - 3 days a week so mostly gaining weight.

Fe Man is Back...

So... I'm sorry to my fellow bloggers for being gone so long... lots of chaos in my life over the last half year. I'm glad that my exercise routine has kept the blue birds from getting me down even more then they could have. I know that when it is seems to be the darkest the daylight will come.

Here I am at the end of the year, and what did I accomplish this year? I ran another Half Ironman at what might have been the low point in my emotional and physical wellness. Steelhead 2007 was the strangest race day that I have ever experienced. All things considering, I ran my best time at the event. I will need to blog about that day.

Come back soon and follow me again as I try to attain completion of my Quest for Ironman.
