Second Full Week

Second full week and at least the spinning is getting better. I am still way out of shape but at least the class is getting better. Lot’s of different class instructors to get varied workout styles. I seem to like Eric’s class and (I can’t seem to remember her name's) class. They seem to be the most enthusiastic about their classes and the music is good. Got to love techno for spinning music!

Heavy Weight for the Week: 198.0
Light Weight for the Week: 195.0
Training: Bike 5 one-hour classes, Ran a total of 11 miles. (Still no swimming)

One week down and more to go...

First full week of indoor training and I feel drained. I did the spin class 4 days this week and the hill workout kicked me in the ass. I needed to have that done to me to tell me that I am way out of shape. I hope it gets better before I end up quitting again.

Heavy Weight for the Week: 198.6
Light Weight for the Week: 196.8
Training: Bike 4 one-hour classes, Ran a total of 9 miles. (Have to start somewhere)

Training.... Stress, Pain and Sweat.

So you may ask yourself... How much does this guy actually train for one of these things? Answer... It all depends; I have good weeks and bad weeks. This week is heading into the good column. I have managed to get motivated to get to the gym to work out and the weather in Michigan has turned to what I affectionately call Blustery season. The weather in Michigan has gotten to the point where the leaves have a difficult time holding on to their branches. On a more personal note it also signals the time when a majority of Michiganders take to the indoors for training.

The gym has gotten packed as more and more "newbie’s" join the clubs. There are so many new faces that my spinning classes have gotten to the point that they are now full prior to class starting. I need to get there at least ten minutes early if I want a good spot. What I will attempt to do is on a weekly basis I will chart my weight, body fat, and training. I hope that with this I will be able to see a difference and keep me motivated during the long winter months.
